What is slip cast and Artist Made?

If the description of the product says "slip cast" then it is produced from a mould of the original art work. Unless the mould is made by the artists recently, then it s safe to assume that the mould comes from the time range of 60's-80's. All mould produced art is cleaned up by hand, this includes trimming and smoothing seams, bisque firing, and painted by the artists if the option is chosen. All descriptions on art items will say whether or not they are slip casted, original art, or any other type.

Shipping Protections:

All items are packed carefully to protect them from being broken in shipping. However I'm not liable for damages created in shipping. I recommend purchasing through your shipping opts insurances in order to protect your items further. Priority shipping which includes tracking and some insurances is always the standard opt. If the item damaged is a bisque(naked) casting, it is usually no problem to have it replaces and reshipped out. Original art work or custom painted work may not be able to be replaced depending on circumstances. I will always try to help you in these unfortunate shipping complications, so please reach out to me for any problems.

What is Bisque(Naked)?

Bisque is pottery that has been fired in a kiln without a glaze. It can be a final product, like unglazed earthenware or biscuit porcelain, or an intermediate step in the process of creating a glazed final product. With an absorption rate of 10% or less. It has achieved near zero porosity. (Its fun to refer to it as naked *shrug*)
